Manual Exposure Control lets you adjust the brightness of your photos manually, helping you get consistent lighting in any environment and avoid dark shots or blown-out highlights.
When should I use Manual Exposure Control?
Use manual exposure when lighting conditions are uneven or changing, such as indoor showrooms, strong sunlight, or mixed lighting. It allows you to fine-tune brightness so the vehicle looks clear and well-balanced.
How it works:
Tap the Settings button at the top of the camera screen to open camera tools
Tap the sun icon to open Exposure
Tap and drag up or down on the exposure slider to increase or decrease brightness
Adjust gradually until the vehicle appears evenly lit and natural
How do I return to automatic exposure?
Tap Auto to return to automatic exposure settings at any time.
Does Manual Exposure affect focus?
No. Manual Exposure only controls brightness. Focus can be adjusted separately using the focus tool.
Does Manual Exposure affect my final content?
Manual exposure helps improve the quality of your captured photos, resulting in more consistent visuals used in your final videos and ads.
Pro tip
Avoid over-adjusting exposure. Too much brightness can wash out highlights, while lowering it too far can hide important vehicle details. Small adjustments usually deliver the best results.
