The Grid Overlay is a new camera tool in the Phyron App designed to help you capture more consistent, professional vehicle photo sets.
By turning on the grid, you can line up every shot with confidence — keeping the vehicle centred, level, and evenly framed across the entire session.
Why Use the Grid Overlay?
The grid overlay helps you:
Keep the vehicle consistently positioned in every photo
Avoid tilted or uneven framing
Create a cleaner, more professional inventory photo set
Improve the quality of your Phyron Stills and Videos
This is especially useful when taking multiple exterior angles in a busy forecourt environment.
How to Enable Camera Tools
Before you can use the grid overlay, make sure Camera Tools are enabled in your app settings:
Open the Phyron App
Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner
In Settings, find Camera Tools under General
Toggle Camera Tools ON
Once enabled, camera tools (including grid overlay) will appear during photo capture.
How to Turn On the Grid Overlay
Tap Settings at the top of the camera screen to open camera tools
Tap the Grid icon to turn the overlay on or off
When enabled, faint grid lines will appear on your screen to guide your framing.

Use the grid to align key vehicle features (such as the roofline or headlights) along the horizontal lines. This helps keep shots level and creates a more premium, consistent look across your listings.
